Presentation of National Migration Policy Plan to Minister Ramdin

On May 2, 2025, the National Migration Policy Plan was officially handed over to Minister Albert Ramdin at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation (BIBIS). This policy document is the result of intensive collaboration between the interministerial committee and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The interministerial committee, established in 2023 by Minister Ramdin, consists of representatives from various ministries: BIBIS, Home Affairs, Labor, Employment and Youth Affairs, Justice and Police, Social Affairs and Housing, and Education, Science and Culture. In addition, the Directorate of National Security (DNV), the Public Prosecution Service and the Immigration Service also participate.
